Manage athlete context
Athlete is where you maintain equipment, movement limitations, and personal records so workout generation has durable training context.
Steps
- Open Athlete from the navigation.
- Add available or limited equipment.
- Add movement limitations as avoid, modify, or caution notes.
- Add personal records such as 1RM, 5RM, or a 5 km time; strength records are grouped by movement when possible.
- Watch for the saving/saved status after each change.
What You Should See
Athlete should show editable equipment, limitations, grouped personal records, autosave status, and read-only activity insights when available.
Tips
- Keep limitation notes practical, for example movements to avoid or scale.
- Use grouped strength PRs to compare rep schemes for the same movement without treating every entry as a separate list item.
- Use personal records for calibration. WODIQ should not turn them into max-test assignments unless you ask for that today.
- Same-day notes during workout setup can override the persistent profile for one session.

What You Can Update
- Equipment: mark what is available, limited, or unavailable.
- Attention points: add practical notes about movements, sports, or situations WODIQ should account for.
- PR references: save optional strength or endurance references, such as a 1RM, 5RM, or recent time over a known distance. Strength PRs are grouped by movement.
- Activity insights: review read-only signals such as primary sports, training frequency, and recovery status.
Equipment
Keep equipment practical. Use bodyweight-only when that best matches your training environment, or mark equipment as limited when you can use it sometimes but not always.
Attention Points
Write short, concrete notes such as avoid overhead volume, build running volume carefully, or keep today low impact. Choose where the note applies so WODIQ can account for it more precisely.
PR References
PRs are optional references, not required setup. Strength PRs are grouped by movement so 1RM, 3RM, and 5RM references stay together. Use them for calibration; WODIQ should not turn them into max-test assignments unless you ask for that today.
Activity Insights
This section is filled automatically from connected activity data and WODIQ history. It is read-only in Athlete; if you do not see much yet, WODIQ may need more recent activity data.
Good To Know
- Changes save to your training profile and are used for future workouts.
- Same-day workout notes can override your saved Athlete context for one session.
- Athlete is not a medical tool. Review suggestions against your own judgment and current situation.
